OBJECTIVES:

Upon completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  2. Identify risk factors and modifications that reduce certain of those risks.
  3. Understand the value of establishing resident baseline information.
  4. Recognize the importance of education in preparing staff to provide care to those with dementia, delirium, or depression.
  5. Learn how the requirements of F-Tag 272 Resident Assessment, F-Tag 279 Comprehensive Care Plan, F-Tag 240 Quality of Life, and F-Tag 241 Dignity are met through application of Culture Change Values when caring for residents with dementia, delirium, or depression.
